Hospice Klang ushered in the year of a rabbit with a bounding leap, casting past misfortunes aside, clasping on tight to the abundance of health, wealth and joy the hopping bunny has to offer. Today, on the 12th of February 2011; or the Chinese may refer to as the tenth day of their Chinese New Year, a celebration was held at Hospice Klang.

For 16 years, Hospice Klang has lived up to its name for patient care. For those 16 good years, a reputation has been strung high where exemplary standards were set and lived up to. Today, 16 years later, a toast is in order to call for the perseverance to strive towards a better tomorrow. What better time than now to be merry with the birth of a new year and with it to show love and support to all volunteers, staff, patients and doctors.

Tables full of food were brought by volunteers and patients to accompany this auspicious celebration. A diverse range of food from every ethnicity and background. Of course not forgetting the Chinese Traditions where Fortune Cookies were cracked apart and random fortunes revealed. In addition to that element of surprise, cookies and mandarin oranges were munched on with much laughter and joy

All in all, today was indeed a hopping day at Hospice Klang, where patients, volunteers and staff rejoice the birth of a New Year and await in anticipation of what this New Year has to offer.
